Make Room for Daddy starred Danny Thomas and was a popular 1950's sitcom, while Petticoat Junction, a spinoff of Beverly Hillbillies, starred Bea Benederet and Edgar Buchanan and was a family classic in the 1960's. Blondie was a 1950's sitcom adapted from the comic strip of the same name and, while it did not have the success of the other six sitcoms on the TV4U Comedy Channel, it was a staple of American TV for several years.
